Mediterraneo Hotel Review. In Benidorm there are lots of great hotels but unfortunately through our experience there are also some very bad ones but we are glad to say, The Mediterraneo Hotel in Benidorm is one of those great hotels and best of all, we have found the hotel to be good value for money and not over priced in high season.
The only real bad thing about the Mediterraneo Hotel in Benidorm is the location. The holiday companies try and claim you are lucky being in such a quiet area where they say to you the Mediterraneo Hotel is in a privileged area which is a part of an exclusive residential area in the Rincon De Loix in Benidorm, in no selling terms they mean that the hotel is not next to the main entertainment area.

However, The Mediterraneo Hotel is still only 900 metres away from the Levante Beach and the hotel is near the Aqualandia and Mundomar theme parks which is a bonus and if you have money to throw away on your holiday then the hotel is next door to the Benidorm Palace as featured in the ITV1 comedy show Benidorm.
This is a truly lovely hotel where the complex is 12,000 square metres which is very rare for a hotel in Benidorm. This means you have lots of open areas where you can relax and sunbathe.
The bedrooms are very cosy and comfortable and are what you would expect from a four star hotel. They come with a nice bathroom with a hair dryer which a lot of hotels in Benidorm do not offer and you have 2 single beds and a sofa bed and again unlike a lot of hotels in Benidorm, the Mediterraneo Hotel has satellite television and a mini fridge in the rooms. You do not need to worry about carrying your money around with you as the hotel offers for a local charge a safe box.
If you like to go swimming then you are in luck as the Mediterraneo has an amazing pool as well as an indoor pool and if you like to relax in a Jacuzzi then this is the hotel for you. Basically this hotel offers far more than you would expect from a hotel in Benidorm.
As for children, they will love The Mediterraneo Hotel with the entertainment that is on offer throughout the day. There is also a kid’s pool as well as a playground for the children to enjoy and if your kids like arcades games and like to play pool and table tennis then your children will not get bored.
One of the things that stands the Mediterraneo out from the others is this hotel not only offers entertainment during the day but it also has entertainment during the night. Unfortunately not a lot of hotels in Benidorm offer entertainment during the night and if they do then the entertainment is not worth watching, but hotels such as the Flamingo Oasis and the Mediterraneo offer quality entertainment.
If you are a regular visitor to Benidorm then you will know when it comes to the staff at the hotels then it can be hit or miss if they are a friendly bunch, some hotels the staff are less than friendly and some are dam right rude but at the Mediterraneo hotel the staff are very friendly and will spend time chatting to you.
Another thing I have noticed when staying in Benidorm and not just Benidorm, the food can be hit or miss. I have walked into a hotel before now and thought wow what a hotel and when I went to the restaurant it was a case of thinking I was back at school with food that was not enjoyable but at the Mediterraneo hotel the food is outstanding. You will find it very hard not to find something you will not enjoy; there is food for everyone no matter how fussy you are.
If you want to explore then there are busses outside the hotel that arrive every few minutes with a single fair to the center at only £1.40.
The Mediterraneo is a quality hotel that will give you a great family holiday at a price you can afford and remember, before booking with a high street travel agent, explore the internet and check out online prices and see how much money you can save.
