Sol Costablanca Hotel Review. The Sol Costablanca Hotel in Benidorm has 185 rooms and is in a great location along the Levante beach but unfortunately like a lot of hotels in Benidorm it requires modernisation. Do not get me wrong; even though the outdated Benidorm hotel needs modernisation, we have to say that it is a very friendly and a nice hotel to stay in. Ok the facilities in the hotel could be improved but what it is lacking in facilities and décor and compensates that with the location and the high quality service and food that is provided at this popular Benidorm hotel.

We have talked in the past while doing reviews of hotels in Benidorm about the number of hotels that have still not been updated and the Sol Costablanca hotel is one of those hotels but even though the owners of the hotel should spend some money on the hotel and bring it up to date, the hotel is still a nice place to stay for family’s and adults alike who want an enjoyable, friendly and relaxing holiday.

The outdoor swimming pool is nice enough but I would have preferred it to be bigger and there is a problem when it comes to sunbeds, they really need to look at buying more sunbeds and make them more comfortable. By the time you come out in the morning and choose a sunbed they have all gone, that is because people are getting up very early and putting a towel on them and we cannot blame it on the Germans as the Sol Costablanca hotel is mainly occupied by Spanish holidaymakers.

The hotel facilities include a bar lounge, TV room, games room, Foreign Exchange, Safety Deposit Box Rental, Wi-Fi and a unisex hairdresser

The hotel rooms are outdated but still comfortable and spacious where they consist of air conditioning which is always a plus when it comes to Benidorm, balcony, safe deposit boxes, telephone, Satellite TV and hairdryer.

The food at the hotel is nice, I would not say the food at the Sol Costablanca was the best food I have eaten in Benidorm but it is still nice and there is plenty to choose from. The alcohol at the hotel is not watered down so that is another plus for the Sol Costablanca.

Like the with all our reviews on hotels in Benidorm we make sure we check on everything from the rooms, the food and the way the staff treat the guests and with our Sol Costablanca hotel review it was no different. We wanted to find out how the reception staff was and how the bar staff and even chambermaids were and we found them all to be very helpful.

What I really liked about the hotel was not the food or even the way the hotel staff made us feel very welcome, what I really liked about the Sol Costablanca was the location of the hotel, looking over the beach and knowing that I could just come out of the hotel and be able to walk to a bar or to a restaurant.

If you are looking for a nice family hotel then you could not go wrong with the Sol Costablanca hotel, ok it needs updating but it is still a lovely hotel to stay in while holidaying in Benidorm.
