OK the hotel is not a four star hotel but to be honest it would not take too much to make this hotel into a four star and maybe just maybe the hotel owners may stop being lazy and add the extras that are needed to improve the hotel and get the extra star.
The hotel consists of two wings and is a great and safe place for the family to come too. The Ambassador Playa hotel is a much sort after hotel so if you are thinking of booking this hotel then you will have to be quick. A lot of people book this hotel not because of all the great things it has on offer but because of the location of the hotel, you could not really ask for a better location if you tried when it comes to wanting to be near all the entertainment.

As soon as you walk out of the Ambassador Playa Hotel you will be right bang in the middle of the lively entertainment. Along the road outside the Ambassador hotel you have all the bars and clubs you could ever want for a lively night out. If you fancy seeing Meat Loaf to Queen then the entertainment strip as it is fondly known is right on your doorstep.
The rooms at the Ambassador Playa hotel have all the amenities that you could want which includes satellite television, security safe and best of all which is not fully available in a lot of hotels in Benidorm, air conditioning.
The Ambassador Playa hotel includes 2 swimming pools with one that is heated in winter. The hotel also offers a gym, sauna, solarium, Jacuzzi, whirlpool and sunbeds but please be warned, when it comes to the sunbeds there are not enough to go around and when the doors open in the morning everyone rushes out to grab themselves a sunbed. We watched with amazement as it was like watching a sketch from a Benny Hill show so be warned, if you want a sunbed then get up early and learn how to run.
The hotel goes that extra mile by providing laundry facilities, currency exchange services, internet services and room service.
If you have children then they will love this hotel as there are lots going on day and night and one of the things this hotel is well known for is putting on some great shows in the evening. The Ambassador Playa Hotel offers full board and I have to say after experiencing some of the food and some four star hotels in Benidorm, the Ambassador hotel food is defiantly a four star rating unlike some of the so called four star hotels that provide basic food.
