Eastenders Spoiler. When Ian and Mandy got together, Eastenders fans could not imagine them being a real couple and now it seems they could be right after the wedding day turns into a pantomime. Ian is determined to get married to Mandy and wants the whole family to move away from Walford but not everyone is happy about the idea. Lucy wants to stay in Walford while Mandy thinks Ian is rushing things and has not thought everything through, although she quickly changes her mind when he hands over a load of dosh for a new wedding dress.
Phil is told about Ian’s plans to leave Walford and pays him a visit. The Eastender hardman tells him that he has to stay in Walford so everything seems normal and a very nervous Ian agrees. However later on, Janine reminds him of his loan repayments and he decides that he needs to get away from Albert Square.
Ian is determined to get married by the end of the week and move the family away from Walford. Lucy is far from pleased over this, while Mandy also thinks he is rushing things - although she's won round when Ian hands her the money for a new wedding dress. When Lucy tells Phil what's going on, the hardman pays Ian a visit - warning him that he must stay in Walford so that everything appears normal.
A nervous Ian agrees, but when Janine later reminds him of his loan repayments, he vows to go ahead with his plans to leave Albert Square.
Ian is not happy that Phil knows about the plans to leave Walford and realises that it was Lucy that told him. He decides to get Lucy and Mandy together and tells them the move is still on but Lucy loses her temper and claims Ian is trying to create a new version of Cindy. Lucy gets angry with her dad and starts to cancel all his wedding plans because his back.
