Sainsburys customers 10% points back on easyJet flights with Nectar

easyjet2Now your points can fly further as ‘Collect more, fly more’ gives Sainsbury’s customers 10% points back on easyJet flights with Nectar

Launching today, Sainsbury’s customers can now benefit from ‘Collect more, fly more’. Any Sainsbury’s customer who uses their Nectar points to book an easyJet flight will receive a generous rebate of 10% of their points back on every booking they make.

Sainsbury’s shoppers who regularly collect Nectar points now have a great way to boost their points balance, after paying for their summer holidays or weekend away with easyJet. In addition to the 10% rebate they will also receive a coupon for double points on their next Sainsbury’s shop and be entered into a monthly prize draw to win £200 worth of Nectar points.

'Sainsbury Working With Nectar To Give Holiday Makers Discount On Flights'

Cardholders must simply have shopped and swiped their Nectar card at Sainsbury’s within the 12 weeks prior to spending points with easyJet to qualify for the 10% points rebate, coupon and prize draw entry.

Andrew Mann, Sainsbury’s Director of Customer Insight, said: “Since we launched our partnership with easyJet feedback from customers has been overwhelmingly positive so we are delighted to offer them something extra. Whether popping in for a pint of milk or doing a big weekly shop, Sainsbury’s customers enjoy Nectar points on everything they buy and can easily put these towards a week in the sun or a weekend away, something that will no doubt help banish the winter blues.”

James Frost, marketing director at Nectar, says: “We’re always looking for new ways to give more back to our collectors and ‘Collect more, fly more’ does just this. We know our collectors love our partnership with easyJet. Since we launched with them last year we have flown more than 220 planeloads of Nectar collectors on easyJet flights.

Nectar points can be used to cover all costs associated with the flight, including taxes, admin and credit card fee An £8.00 booking fee applies when using Nectar points to purchase easyJet flights. This fee can also be paid in part or in full with Nectar points, speedy boarding, luggage and any sports equipment. Nectar cardholders can pay for their flight in full using Nectar points, or use a combination of points and cash If part paying with points and a credit card, Nectar points cannot be used against the credit card fee to complete the transaction. Nectar points can be exchanged for any easyJet flights to over 550 destinations in 30 countries with no restrictions or time limits.

‘Collect more, fly more’ is being promoted via a TV advert, airing for 4 weeks from 13th February. The TV advertising will be supported by customer emails, Nectar statement inserts, in store merchandise and social media.
