Lincolnshire Covid Cases Not Slowing Down

  • 730 new COVID cases in Lincolnshire on Monday October 11th

 

The Lincolnshire COVID-19 cases continue to rise with another 730 cases reported on Monday. The highest infected group according to the new report is 10-14 year olds.

Parents in Lincoln, Boston, Grantham, Spalding, Scunthorpe and the rest of Lincolnshire are being advised to have their children vaccinated.

The new 730 cases today is a worrying factor and one that should not be ignored. Compared to last Monday, the number of cases has risen by 23%. Last Monday the number of new COVID cases in Lincolnshire stood at 595.

Education Secretary Nadhim Zahawi and Health Secretary Sajid Javid have joined forces to try and convince parents to have their children vaccinated. A letter has been sent out to all parents of children in secondary school explaining the importance of vaccination.

The latest COVID stats for Lincolnshire are:

730 new cases of coronavirus in Greater Lincolnshire with 553 in Lincolnshire, 75 in North East Lincolnshire and 102 in North Lincolnshire
