South Kesteven COVID Cases Are Higher Than The National Average

  • COVID cases in South Kesteven continue to rise

 

People living in Grantham, and the rest of the Lincolnshire area are being advised to get vaccinated after cases in South Kesteven continue to rise.

According to official figures, the number of new infections in South Kesteven are higher than the national average.

Official reports released today has found that in the past week 833 new COVID cases have been confirmed. The total number of COVID cases in the area since the pandemic began has increased to 14,836.

11 per cent of the population of South Kesteven has tested positive for COVID.

The number of people who have died from COVID within 28 days of testing positive for the virus stands at 286

With the COVID virus continuing to rise, local health officials are advising people to get vaccinated and those who are entitled to a booster jab, to take up the offer.

Some experts have voiced their concerns that the COVID virus is not slowing down and some believe we could be heading towards a third lockdown.
