A 40-year-old man has been charged with the murder of a missing Boston woman
Lincolnshire Police have today announced they have charged a 40-year-old man with the murder of a missing Boston Woman.
Kamil Ranoszek, 40, of Wormgate in Boston has been charged with the murder of 27-year-old Ilona Golabek who went missing on the 11th November 2021. Ilona’s body has not yet been found
Two men were initially arrested as part of the investigation of the disappearance of Ilona Golabek.
Kamil Ranoszek is currently in custody and will appear at Lincoln Magistrates Court later today
Detective Chief Inspector Richard Myszczyszyn, of East Midlands Special Operations Unit said no body has been found and investigations are continuing.
“We are continuing to search for Ilona and our thoughts are with her family at this very difficult time.
“We arrested Kamil Ranoszek on November 21st on suspicion of murder, and he has been been charged. The second arrested man, aged 32, has been released under investigation.
“We understand this may be a concern for the people of Boston, and while I am unable to disclose much information at this stage in our investigation, I can say that we believe those involved are known to one another and this is an isolated incident.”
Lincolnshire Police are still asking for people with any knowledge of what happened to Ilona Golabek to come forward. They can contact the police by calling 101 quoting incident 200 of November 11th.
