A teenager has been arrested after a fatal crash near Skegness
A tragic accident near Skkegness has claimed the life of a young moped rider. The collision, involving three vehicles, occurred on the A52 at Croft, near Skegness, on the evening of Saturday, December 21, shortly after 8:45 PM.
The vehicles involved were a white Ford C-Max, a Zontes Firefly 125cc moped, and a red Nissan Micra. The Ford and Nissan were headed towards Boston, while the moped was traveling in the opposite direction towards Skegness.
19 Year old man arrested after crash near Skegness
Police have confirmed that the 23-year-old male rider of the moped died at the scene. The driver of the Ford, a 19-year-old, has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving. Authorities are now seeking assistance from the public.
A Lincolnshire Police spokesperson stated: “As part of the investigation, we would like to hear from anyone who witnessed the three vehicles near the scene prior to the collision or saw the collision itself.
