easyJet Introduces Convenient Luggage Collection and Delivery Services

In a bid to enhance customer experience and offer more convenience, easyJet has partnered with baggage collection company Airportr to launch a new range of luggage collection, delivery, and door-to-door services.

easyJet has launched a new baggage collection service. Customers can choose to check in their luggage from home and skip the hassle of bag drop on departure.

This groundbreaking initiative allows passengers flying between London Gatwick and Geneva to check in their luggage from the comfort of their own homes, skip the hassle of bag drop on departure, and effortlessly collect their bags upon arrival.

With 40% of easyJet customers expressing interest in such services, this collaboration aims to revolutionize the way travellers handle their luggage.

This service eliminates the need to lug heavy suitcases to the airport and wait in long queues at the check-in counters.

Accredited drivers will collect the bags from the specified location and ensure their safe delivery to the respective airports. This streamlined process allows travellers to breeze through the airport without the burden of their luggage, saving valuable time and energy. Upon arrival at their destination, passengers can retrieve their bags from the baggage belt hassle-free.

For passengers arriving at Geneva from any easyJet airport, the airline now offers the convenience of booking a delivery service for their bags.

This means that travellers no longer need to worry about hauling their luggage through crowded airports or arranging for transportation to their final destination.

Instead, they can simply relax and enjoy their journey, knowing that their bags will be delivered to their home or hotel. This door-to-door service ensures a seamless travel experience, allowing passengers to focus on what truly matters – whether it’s attending a business meeting or starting their vacation on a stress-free note.

The door-to-door service, available for passengers flying from London Gatwick to Geneva, takes convenience to a whole new level.

With this service, customers can check in their bags from the comfort of their own homes, eliminating the need to visit a pick-up point.

The bags are then delivered directly to their final destination, ensuring a completely hassle-free luggage experience. This innovative offering reflects easyJet’s commitment to providing customers with more choices and enhancing their overall travel experience.

The introduction of these luggage collection, delivery, and door-to-door services brings numerous benefits to easyJet passengers.

The most significant advantage is the time and effort saved by avoiding long queues at check-in counters and baggage collection areas.

Travelers can now make the most of their pre-flight and post-flight time, whether it’s for business purposes or leisure activities.

Additionally, the convenience of having bags delivered to the final destination reduces stress and allows passengers to start their trip or return home without any worries.

As for pricing, easyJet has made these services affordable and accessible. The cost for these services starts at just £37, making them an attractive option for travellers seeking convenience without breaking the bank.

The airline has also included the service in a bundle fare, meaning that Flexi fare customers flying from London Gatwick and Geneva have the service automatically included in their booking.

Sophie Dekkers, Chief Commercial Officer at easyJet, expressed excitement about introducing these services and meeting customer demands.

She said: “The airline is committed to continuously innovating its products and services to provide customers with the choices they desire. The initial launch of Airportr’s services from London Gatwick and Geneva is just the beginning, and easyJet plans to expand these offerings to more destinations in the future.”

Randel Darby, CEO of Airportr, emphasized the significance of this collaboration in advancing off-airport baggage management. He said: “Travelers increasingly prioritize speed and convenience, and easyJet is dedicated to ensuring a seamless travel experience for its customers. With Airportr’s support, easyJet is well-positioned to achieve its mission of delivering a faster and more enjoyable travel experience, especially when it comes to handling baggage.”
