Lincolnshire Disabled People Refuse To Vote Conservative Party

Lincolnshire MPs Are In Serious Trouble With Disabled People

With Rishi Sunak’s attack on disabled people and his aim to change the future of PIP (Personal Independence Payment) that thousands of disabled people rely on, Lincolnshire MPs could find themselves out of a job at the next General Election.

Rishi Sunak could be facing the biggest defeat in the history of the Conservative Party at the General Election on the 4th of July. With our research, one section of the public that will not be voting for Conservative MPs will be those who are disabled or long-term sick.

The Prime Minister made the shock announcement that the General Election will be held on July 4th. It was not only the people of Lincolnshire and around the UK who were shocked, but also some Conservative MPs.

According to reports, Rishi Sunak who has become one of the most unpopular Prime Ministers of our generation failed to tell some of his MPs that the General Election will be held on the 4th of July. This has left them panicking that they have not got enough time to try and convince people to vote for them with the current hatred for the Conservative party.

Lincolnshire MPs are hoping to convince people in Skegness, Boston, Grimsby, Scunthorpe, Lincoln, Grantham, Louth, Spalding, and Cleethorpes to vote for them. But with disabled people and those on long-term sick feeling victimized, MPs in Lincolnshire could face an upward struggle to get re-elected.

Rishi Sunak said he wants to tackle the so-called sick-note culture in the UK. He also went on to say that he wanted fewer disabled people and wanted them to work. He went on to say that he wants it to be harder for people to get a sick note and to claim PIP which has left a lot of angry disabled people worried.

The charity Scope branded the plans as a full-on assault on disabled people. According to a spokesperson for Scope, the reforms were planned to bring costs down and had nothing to do with supporting disabled people.

This anger by disabled people who feel that Rishi Sunak is picking on vulnerable people instead of helping them, could see Lincolnshire MPs fail to get re-elected.

We asked 300 people in Lincolnshire who were disabled and suffering from long-term health issues and their view on the current Prime Minister is the sooner he goes the better.

Out of the 300 people we have spoken to, 296 of them said they will not be voting for a Lincolnshire Conservative MP at the General Election on the 4th of July.

Many of those we spoke to had previously voted for the Conservative party at the last General Election but will now vote for Labour. This is very damaging for Lincolnshire which is known for mostly having Conservative MPs.

According to all the disabled people we have spoken to, Rishi Sunak and the Conservative government have no interest in helping vulnerable people who are not able to work.

Lincolnshire MPs have done themselves no favours under Rishi Sunak. As reported in Lincolnshire News Today, all of the Conservative MPs in Lincolnshire failed to back a plan to stop the sale of Ninja swords. This resulted in many Lincolnshire parents calling for Lincolnshire MPs to stand down straight away, which none of the MPs in Lincolnshire listened to.

With the strong feeling from disabled people that the current government doesn’t care about them, and with millions of people in Lincolnshire struggling to survive with the high cost of living, the next general election could see no Conservative MPs representing our region.
