A 23-year-old man has been arrested by Lincolnshire Police in connection with an assault in Boston.
The victim who was assaulted required hospital treatment. The assault happened in Boston around 7.25pm on December 5.
Lincolnshire Police’s Force Control Room was alerted to an incident involving an injured man in Boston‘s Market Place on Tuesday, December 5, around 7:25 PM.
A 23-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of assault causing actual bodily harm (ABH). The suspect was apprehended by the police and is currently in custody for further questioning.
The victim, described as a man in his 30s, was promptly taken to the hospital to receive medical attention. The severity of his injuries and his current condition have not been disclosed at this time.
The Lincolnshire Police are appealing to the public for any information that may assist with their investigation.
A force spokesperson said: “We subsequently arrested a 23-year-old man on suspicion of ABH.
“He remains in custody and will be questioned in due course.
“The victim, aged in his 30s, was taken to hospital to be treated.”
