Skegness Sands Caravan Site Review
The Skegness Sands Caravan is one of the most popular touring sites in Skegness.
Skegness Sands is one of the best campsites in Skegness for touring caravans. It is an impressive site that is part of a bigger holiday park filled with static caravans. The Skegness Sands touring site is nicely placed to the promenade and beach.
The Skegness campsite has its own entrance for touring caravans which a lot of the other Skegness caravan parks don’t have. This is useful, especially in peak season. It cuts down the waiting time to get on-site and to your caravan pitch.
In total, the Skegness holiday park has 82 pitches for touring caravans and motorhomes. Each pitch comes with 16A electricity. 45 of the pitches are on grass, and 37 are on gravel hardstandings. There is good lighting on the site which does make a pleasant change.
The toilet block on the campsite was upgraded in 2014. Unlike a lot of toilet blocks on touring sites, the one on Skegness Sands is heated. It includes washbasins in curtained cubicles and there are also three family shower rooms which is a bonus. There is also a room for disabled campers which every touring site should have.
Kids will love the popular Skegness campsite. It has lots of facilities to keep the whole family entertained. There is a big pool and a children’s play area. The site has also a hairdressing salon and a laundry room, what is not to like.

During our Skegness Sands review, we were impressed with the security measures in place. There are regular security patrols and the gate to the promenade is kept locked at all times. When you arrive on-site you will be issued with a key to the gate, so you can gain access at all times.
Pets are allowed on Skegness Sands, so you don’t have to leave your furry friend at home. Please note, that dogs must be kept on a lead at all times.
Camping in Skegness makes a great family holiday. There are lots of great things to do in Skegness. The Skegness Sands touring park is just two miles from the main resort, so it is easy to get to by car, bus, or even a nice walk.
There are lots of great local attractions near Skegness Sands caravan park. They include Fantasy Island, Funcoast World, The Skegness Seal Sanctuary, Hardy’s Animal Farm, and Gibraltar Point National Nature Reserve to name a few.
