More Covid cases in North East Lincolnshire have been reported and there are no signs of them slowing down
With worrying news of the new Covid variant (Omicron), it is very concerning to report that Covid cases in North East Lincolnshire continue to rise. The current figures of new North East Lincolnshire Covid cases stands at 863.
Between 23 November and 29 November there were 57 people in hospitals run by the Northern Lincolnshire Trust. That include Hospitals in Scunthorpe and Grimsby. Eight those people are in intensive care.
During the same period, there have been four deaths according to official figures.
It is hoped with the faster roll out of the vaccine and booster jabs, and the re-introduction of face masks, that it may have a positive impact on the spread of Covid.
