Lincolnshire Pensioner ‘dragged to the floor’ in Gainsborough robbery
Police in Lincolnshire are hunting a woman who dragged a woman in her 70s before stealing her purse. This was a vicious attack and Lincolnshire Police want help finding her.
Lincolnshire Police are asking for help to trace a woman after she dragged a woman in her 70s to the floor in Gainsborough while robbing her purse.
The robbery happened in the Sandsfield Lane underpass and Rec Hill area of Gainsborough at around 4.30pm on Monday August 21.
Lincolnshire Police have released a picture of the woman they want to speak to in connection to the assault and robbery. They are asking for help in identifying her.
A spokesperson for Lincolnshire police said: “We received a report that a woman in her 70s has been dragged to the floor from behind and had her purse stolen.
“If you can help with the identity of the woman in the image or have any information that will assist the investigation team, we would like to hear from you.
