Man 74 Arrested In Grantham

A Grantham Man, 74, Has Been Arrested Over Town Assault

Lincolnshire Police have said a man who is believed to be 74 was arrested on Sunday on Suspicion of assault

 

A 74-year-old man was arrested on Sunday in Grantham on suspicion of assault. He was arrested after a man in his 60s was left with serious injuries.

According to Lincolnshire Police, the incident took place on Sunday at around 09.15 in Harrowby Lane, Grantham.

The victim was taken to hospital which has been described as serious injuries but not life threatening. He has now been discharged.

The 74-year-old man who was arrested remains in police custody.

Lincolnshire Police have asked for any witnesses to come forward.
