Man Was Struck With A Bottle Near Grimsthorpe Castle

Lincolnshire Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was struck with a bottle near Grimsthorpe Castle In the early hours of Sunday morning (September 5).

The incident happened following the Forbidden Forest music festival at around 1.44am. The victim in his 20s had a verbal altercation with the unknown offender who police said was in his 20s.

Lincolnshire Police said the offender struck the victim from behind with a bottle. The victim sustained injuries as a result of the attack. However, Lincolnshire Police said they were not believed to be serious.

Lincolnshire Police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident to get in touch by calling 101 quoting incident 188 of September 4.

This is not the only incident to have happened following the Forbidden Forest music festival. A number of incidents have taken place which includes a group of girls reported they were assaulted and robbed.
