New Homes Could Be Coming To Corby Glen near Grantham

  • Plans for 199 new homes in Corby Glen near Grantham

New homes could be built on land in Corby Glen that is currently used for agricultural purposes.

A planning application has been submitted to build 199-houses with 60 of those properties designed to be affordable housing.

The application to build the housing development has been submitted by David Wilson Homes, with the planned site adjacent to a 66-house development which was approved in January 2021.

David Wilson Homes wants to build the homes on the 8.53 hectare site to the south of Bourne Road, with Swinstead Road to the north.

They believe the development would benefit the village near Grantham.

The application said: “The proposed development will enhance the overall character and appearance of the local area and that a distinctive new place will be created which combines a high quality built environment with attractive soft landscaping and the retention of existing landscape features.”

No one has objected to the plans as yet.
