Two Men Arrested Over Grantham Attempted ATM Theft

A Man Has Been Charged in connection with attempted theft of ATM at Grantham Tesco Express

Lincolnshire Police have arrested two men and charged one man after reports of the attempted theft of an ATM from a Tesco Express in Grantham, Lincolnshire.

 

Two men were arrested after the attempted theft of an ATM from a Tesco Express store in Lincolnshire. The incident happened at around 1am in Harrowby Street in Grantham.

Lincolnshire Police have confirmed that one man has been charged with burglary while another man remains in custody after being arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary.

Mohammed Khan, 36, of Great Hampton Street in Wolverhampton, was charged on December 5 and has been remanded in custody.

A spokesperson for Lincolnshire Police added: “A [separate] 29-year-old man arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary remains in police custody.

“Inquiries are still ongoing and we continue to appeal for witnesses and any footage that may help our investigations.”
