Two Vehicle Collision on A52 Near Grantham

Lincolnshire Police have said there was a serious collision on the A52 near Grantham this morning at 5.24am.

Two vehicles, an Audi A3 and a Seat Ibiza were involved in the road traffic collision near Sedgebrook, to the west of Grantham.

Two people were taken to hospital to be assessed after a collision on the A52 this morning.

Police had to close the road in both direction, which caused long traffic delays between Sedgebrook and Barrowby.

A spokesperson for Lincolnshire Police confirmed that minor injuries had been reported, with the driver and passenger of the Seat taken to hospital to be assessed.

Lincolnshire Police are asking for any witnesses to come forward.
