Lincolnshire Police want help to identify a man in relation to an attack on a female driver in a road rage incident near Grantham
A public appeal has been issued by Lincolnshire Police to track down a man they want to speak to over an attack on a woman on the A1 in Long Bennington.
A spokesman for Lincolnshire Police said the female driver was repeatedly cut off by a man driving a blue Ford Puma on the A1. The male driver then forced the woman who was driving a silver Ford Focus to stop where words were exchanged before she was allegedly punched in the face.
Lincolnshire Police have released an image of the man they want to speak to and are asking for anyone who recognises him or the vehicle to come forward.
The incident took place on 20 June at around 11.30am. According to Lincolnshire Police, the male driver had been driving in an erratic manner. After the woman was assaulted, the man drove off towards Grantham.
The man is described as being in his late-60s to early-70s, about 5ft 3in tall and of medium build.
