A Man Who Tried To Break In A Property In Grimsby Has Been Arrested

A 30-Year-Old Man Has Been Arrested After He Tried To Break In A House In Ladysmith Road With A Hammer

 



At around 11.10pm on Wednesday, November 1, Humberside police were called to a property in Grimsby after reports of a man was trying to break into a house with a hammer.

The man fled the scene but was later arrested after enquiries and the assistance of a dog unit that directed them to a nearby property.

The 30-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of aggravated burglary, criminal damage and common assault on the resident on Ladysmith Road who sustained injuries to their face.

He remains in police custody as enquiries continue.
