Passenger fighting for their life after serious A180 crash
A serious accident that took place on A180 has left one person fighting for their life
On Saturday 4 November at around 9.30pm, Humberside Police were called to reports of an accident near to the Stallingborough interchange on the eastbound carriageway.
According to reports. A sliver Ford KA left the road, which resulted in a passenger fighting for their life. The driver of the vehicle has been left with serious injuries.
Humberside Police have asked for any witnesses to come forward and for drivers in the area to check their dashcam.
Humberside Police said: “Officers are investigating a road traffic collision on the A180 eastbound in Grimsby after we were called to reports of a vehicle leaving the carriageway at around 9.30pm last night (Saturday 4 November).
“It is reported a silver Ford KA was travelling on the A180 close to the Stallingborough interchange when it is thought to have left the carriageway, resulting in the driver of the vehicle sustaining serious injuries, and the passenger being taken to hospital for treatment to injuries which are thought to be life threatening at this time.
“Officers are conducting multiple lines of enquiry to establish the circumstances of the collision and would urge anyone who was in the area at the time and witnessed the collision or has dashcam footage from around the time the incident occurred, to contact us on our non-emergency number 101 quoting log 533 of 4 November.”
