The Met Office has warned that snow could be heading to Grimsby, Cleethorpes, and North East Lincolnshire
We have not had the best of summers, and now it seems we could be in for a bad winter.
The Met office have warned that snow could be heading to Grimsby, and bad weather could be with us soon as this weekend.
For most of the country, this weekend could be windy and rainy, but for some parts of the UK there could be snow.
Met Office Chief Meteorologist Andy Page, said: “Low pressure will dominate the weather over the coming days bringing strong winds and heavy rain at times.
“There is still some uncertainty around the exact track of the low-pressure system which will cross the UK over the weekend and therefore exactly where will see the strongest winds and heaviest rain.
“However, southern and south-eastern coastal counties are expected to see some of the strongest gusts on Saturday before the low moves north and out into the North Sea bringing severe gales to the Northern Isles during Sunday. Elsewhere on Sunday it will be brighter for most but with further blustery showers, some of which could be heavy in the west.”
A Met Offoce spokesman said: “There has been some speculation that we might see some snow in there coming weeks.
“While temperatures will definitely have an autumnal feel to them at times and the unsettled theme will continue through October for many, there is no indication of snow in the October forecast at the moment.”
