The San Sebastian theatre is one of the city’s most iconic buildings, which first opened its doors back in 1912. It was decided in 1995 the Victoria Eugenia Theatre needed to be refurbished. This was mainly down to modern day health and safety and fire regulations. The refurbishment was finally completed in 2007, providing the stunning building that it is today.
It may not be the biggest theatre in the world, but Victoria Eugenia Theatre with 910 seats is one of the most stunning. The refurbished theatre is a working theatre and stages several plays, musicals and other events each year.

El Buen Pastor Cathedral

El Buen Pastor Cathedral receives visitors from all over the world. It takes up a total area of 1915 square metres and has a capacity of 4000 people. One thing that makes the cathedral stand out is one of its towers which is 75 metres high. The cathedral is home to statues of Nuestra Señora del Carmen, Santa Teresa, San Antonio, and the Sagrado Corazón.
