Victoria Atkins has put her job at risk by following the other Lincolnshire MPs like sheep and voted to pass a new health and social care tax which will increase National Insurance payments to aid NHS recovery post-COVID.

60 of the 100 people we spoke to in Louth and Horncastle are angry at her actions. They feel like they are struggling at it is, and for their National Insurance contributions to be increased is another kick in the teeth by the Conservative Government.

One woman who did not wished to be named who lives in Louth had this to say. “I am a mother of two, and me and my husband both work. We struggle on a daily basis to survive. This latest crazy action by the Conservative Government is another message that the working class don’t matter.”

When asked if she would be voting for Victoria Atkins at the next General Election, she replied no. This feeling was echoed by many of those people living in Louth and Horncastle.

It seems that none of the ten Greater Lincolnshire MPs care for the working class. Each of the MPs voted in favour of the increase, showing none of those MPs live in the real world.

All ten Greater Lincolnshire MPs followed Boris Johnson like sheep and backed the National Insurance increase.

The next General Election could see Lincolnshire with the least number of Conservative MPs in recent history after Lincolnshire people are becoming fed up of being lied to and betrayed.

Parliament voted on Boris Health and Social Care Levy on Wednesday, September 8. Boris Johnson brought in the new tax to help the NHS recover from the COVID pandemic. However, there was no mention in the millions that was wasted by the Conservative government and contracts being given to friends and donors.

Those earning below £9,564 will not be affected.

The ten Conservative MPs who betrayed their voters and voted in favour of Boris Johnson new tax were:
