Lincoln Road Closure Warning

A46 Lincoln Road Closure Warning for January

Drivers in and around Lincoln should be aware of a National Highways road closure this week. Fortunately, the impact will be minimal, with expected delays of less than 10 minutes. According to the latest schedule from National Highways, the following closure is planned over the next two weeks:

– A46: From 8pm on January 6, 2025, to 5pm on March 31, 2026, anticipate slight delays (under 10 minutes) on the A46 northbound and southbound between Skellingthorpe and Carholme. A diversion route will be in place due to works on the local authority network.

National Highways manages the maintenance of motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads won’t appear in their schedule.
