Lincoln Woman Charged With Drink Driving

  • Woman from North Hykeham, Lincoln has been charged with drink driving following A46 collision

 

Lincolnshire Police have confirmed a 35-year-old woman has been charged with drink driving following a collision with another vehicle in North Hykeham.

The two-vehicle collision happened on Tuesday, July 19th at 7.09am on the A46 between a grey Peugeot 207 and a blue Renault Van. The driver of the van was taken to hospital, but their injuries are not believed to be serious.

Following the incident Lincolnshire Police charged Emma Kinsey of Primrose Close, North Hykeham, Lincoln who was driving the Peugeot with driving a motor vehicle whilst over the legal alcohol limit. Emma Kinsey is set to appear in court at a later date.

Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue attended the incident and extinguished a car fire at the scene.
