Humberside Police Launch Appeals to find two Scunthorpe men wanted in connection with separate ‘serious’ assault

Police have asked for help in locating two men that are wanted in connection to assault allegations.

Humberside Police have launched two appeals to find two men from Scunthorpe who are wanted in connection with separate assaults.

The police want to speak to Allen Bratley, 34, in connection with an “ongoing investigation”. Humberside police are warning the public not to approach Mr Bratley, but to call police if they see him.

Humberside Police also want help in locating Corey McAvennie, 27, who is wanted in connection with an “investigation into a serious assault in Scunthorpe”.



Humberside Police released the following statements:

“Have you seen 34-year-old wanted man Allen Bratley from Scunthorpe? Officers would like to speak to him connection with an ongoing investigation into a serious assault.

“Extensive enquiries are ongoing, and we are doing everything we can to find him. We would ask that the public do not approach Allen, but if you see him, or know where he is, please contact us on 101 quoting crime reference number 23*130734. Alternatively, if you wish to remain anonymous, call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”

“Have you seen 27-year-old wanted man Corey McAvennie? Officers would like to speak to him connection with an ongoing investigation into a serious assault in Scunthorpe.

“Extensive enquiries are ongoing, and we are doing everything we can to find him. Corey is also believed to have connections to the South Yorkshire area. We would ask that the public do not approach Corey, but if you see him, or know where he is, please contact us on 101 quoting crime reference number 23*122077. Alternatively, if you wish to remain anonymous, call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.”
