A spokesperson for Humberside Police said: “We would appeal to anyone who was in the area around the time of the incident, or anyone who has CCTV or dashcam footage that may assist with our enquires to contact us on our non-emergency number 101 quoting log 524 of 23 October.”
A local resident told In2Town Today News that crime is getting out of hand in the area.
She said: “Crime is continuing to rise, but for two teenagers to use a handgun is shocking. I no longer feel safe living on my own or going out at night.”
Local residents want to see more police on the streets instead of turning up after a crime has been committed. Many residents are wondering why their council tax has gone up while there are fewer visiable police officers.
Humberside Police are asking if anyone has any information on the incident to contact them or Crimestoppers.
