Four areas of Scunthorpe have a very low uptake for the Booster Vaccine
Since Boris Johnson warned how important the Booster Vaccine was just before Christmas, people all over Greater Lincolnshire were queuing up to get the booster jab. However, it seems some areas of Scunthorpe are not that interested.
Although North Lincolnshire booster vaccine uptake meets the national average, four areas of Scunthorpe are in no hurry to get the booster jab.
On a positive note, 58.2 per cent of people living in North Lincolnshire who are over the age of 12 have received a booster or third coronavirus vaccination.
The national average is 58.3 per cent, which shows the drive to get people boosted in North Lincolnshire is working.
Messingham has the highest rate of booster jabs with 72.6 per cent of people protected while Scunthorpe Central and Crosby had the lowest with just 24.7 per cent.
The latest Government figures on the percentage of people who have received their booster jab up to and including December 30 are listed below.
