Two Covid Patients In Northern Lincolnshire Die On Same Day

It has sadly been announced that the Coronavirus has claimed the lives of two more patients in northern Lincolnshire.

The two deaths were confirmed by the Northern Lincolnshire and Goole NHS Foundation Trust who said the deaths occurred on Wednesday, November 24.

The hospital trust which runs Diana, Princess of Wales Hospital in Grimsby, Scunthorpe General Hospital and Goole hospital have been under pressure since the Coronavirus pandemic began.

The total number of deaths in Northern Lincolnshire hospitals since the pandemic began now stands at 526

The hospital trust has confirmed that there are 37 patients in their hospitals being treated for Coronavirus. 19 of them are in the Grimsby hospital with one in ICU, and 18 of them are at Scunthorpe.

According to Government figures, 122 new Covid cases were confirmed in North Lincolnshire, and 168 in North East Lincolnshire.

The number of COVID cases confirm in Northern Lincolnshire since the pandemic began stands at 51,298
