The Skegness Natureland Seal Sanctuary review is one of the fun reviews I have done for a long time. If you are looking for things to do in Skegness then this has to be up there with some of the best.
When you think about the Skegness Seal Sanctuary you automatically think it’s a place for the kids, but it’s not. It is a great place for people of all ages.
Situated on the main promenade road, the Skegness Natureland Seal Sanctuary is just a short walk from the main town and a few minutes from Skegness Pier. From the outside it looks small but from the inside it is a lot bigger with a variety of animals including seals.
About Skegness Natureland Seal Sanctuary
The Lincolnshire seal sanctuary does great work for the local seals. They help rescue seals and rehabilitate orphaned and injured seals that become stranded on the beaches of Lincolnshire. When they are better, they are then released back onto the Lincolnshire’s beaches. You can see the different stages of their rehabilitation when visiting Natureland.
Natureland Seal Sanctuary Review
When you walk through the gates of the Seal Sanctuary in Skegness you are amazed at the size of the place. From the outside it looks very small, but that is deceiving.
As well as seals, Natureland has lots of other animals. There are penguins, fish, alpacas, meerkats, and goats to name a few. One thing I loved was feeding times. Watching the seals being fed fish was funny, and watching the penguins being fed was just adorable.
I have to give a special mention to the floral palace. When you work through you can see lots of butterflies flying around. Don’t be surprised if one lands on you.
Pets Corner is a lot of fun and the kids will love it. There is a selection of domestic animals that include chickens, goats, rabbits, and guinea-pigs. You can buy food to feed the animals which the children will love.
I would recommend visiting Skegness Natureland Seal Sanctuary
