Chapel St Leonards stabbing: Man found injured near lake

Lincolnshire Police have asked for help with their investigation after a man was found with suspected stab wounds near a botting lake in Chapel St Leonards, Skegness.

 

Polie have confirmed that a man was found at The Promenade, Chapel St Leonards at 02.27 BST on Monday with suspected stab wounds.

The man who is believed to be in his 40s was taken to hospital, although his injuries are not life-threatening.

Lincolnshire Police arrested a 38-year-old woman on suspicion of assisting an offender. She has since been released on bail.

A spokesman for Lincolnshire Police has asked for any witnesses to the incident or anyone with any information to contact them.
