Fire Crews Tackle Another Ingoldmells Caravan Blaze

  • Another caravan fire took place in Ingoldmells

 

Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue attended a caravan fire in Ingoldmells on Saturday night. The fire crews who attended the fire were from Skegness and Alford.

The caravan fire took place on Sea Lane, Ingoldmells. Firefighters who attended the fire said it was “heavily smoke-logged”.

Lincolnshire Fire and Rescue received a call at 10.49pm on Saturday night alerting them to the fire. A spokesman for the fire service said they have to force entry to the caravan using with breaking-in gear to prevent the fire spreading.

On Twitter, Lincolnshire Fire & Rescue posted at 11.30pm on Saturday: “22:49 – @SkegnessFire wholetime & call crews & Alford are in attendance at a caravan on fire on Sea Lane, Ingoldmells. Caravan heavily smoke-logged, crew extinguishing using 2 hose reel jets after using breaking-in gear to prevent fire spread.”
