Hit and Run Driver Released On Bail

  • Skegness hit-and-run: Arrested man released on bail

 

A man who was arrested in connection with a hit and run in Skegness on Wednesday has been released on bail.

The 33-year-old-man was released on bail while police continue with their investigation.

The driver who was released on bail was driving a Ford Transit van, and according to the investigation he allegedly driven into two men on Everingtons Lane at around 16.15 pm.

As a result of the incident, the two men aged 20 and 38 were seriously injured which resulted in an air ambulance being deployed to the area.

The driver who left the scene was later stopped by police on the A52.

Lincolnshire Police are asking anyone with any information or may have witnessed the incident to come forward.
