Private beach in Ingoldmells has gone up for sale
An exciting opportunity to buy a beach near Skegness has been made available in Ingoldmells. The private beach has been put up for sale with an asking price of just £49,500.
The beach in Ingoldmells covers 17 acres of land, and since the new broke it has gained a huge amount of interest which includes from The National Trust.
The current owner of the private beach in Ingoldmells is Simon Adderley, 57. He said that he has loved owning the beach but now it is time for someone else to share his passion. He bought the beach in Ingoldmells around 15 years ago.
“We built Joe’s Beach Bar and bought the attractions there,” he said but has now sold the pub and parts of the foreshore.
He added: “There are a lot of people who are passionate about beaches, and we want to give someone an opportunity to own one.
“It’s an exceptionally rare opportunity.”
Simon admitted that owning the beach was not much of a money-make but said owning the beach allows people to fulfil a life-long dream.
250 people have already shown interest in purchasing the beach, and it is expected that even more people will come forward.
