Stagecoach have been forced to cancel more routes this week due to the lack of drivers available
Last week in Skegness saw a lot of angry passengers struggling to get to their destination due to the cancellation of some routes.
Stagecoach who has apologized for the problem have said they need to continue to cancel bus routes until they overcome their staff shortage problem.
The company who have cancelled some routes in Lincoln as well as Skegness have said the staff shortage problem is down to Brexit and also COVID-19
Stagecoach East Midlands says it is “working round the clock” to tackle staff shortages that are causing Lincolnshire bus services to be temporarily cancelled, as the impact of Brexit continues to affect business.
Today there were 20 Skegness routes cancelled and 20 for Lincoln. Stagecoach have said, next week from Monday there will be more bus routes affected.
They include
1, 2 and 3 in Skegness and 6, X6, 9, 15 and 16 in Lincoln.
Stagecoach have said they are working hard to overcome the staff shortage problem and apologize to those affected.
