Man Arrested In Mablethorpe

Lincolnshire Police have arrested a man for three burglaries which happened overnight in Mablethorpe.

The man was arrested after three business in Mablethorpe (near Skegness seaside resort) were targeted. The first reported break-in happened at 3.08am (Wednesday 22nd June). Lincolnshire Police arrived at the scene within five minutes of the call.

A man was seen fleeing the scene which led to police chasing him on foot. Officers later arrest the 36-old man.

A spokesman for Lincolnshire Police who have confirmed the arrest are currently reviewing CCTV footage and taking statements.

“Staff from our Crime Scene Investigation (CSI) team have been on site, gathering evidence.”

Lincolnshire Police have said they would like to thank the people of Mablethorpe for their assistance and has said any further information would help in their case.
