Each year millions of people visit Skegness. Many of them stay at caravan parks including Southview Holiday Park, Richmond Holiday Centre, and North Shore Holiday Park. Even though some newspapers have slammed the resort without even visiting Skegness, Trip Advisor is celebrating the many attractions on offer.

There is so much to do and see in Skegness as you can see from our guide to the best things to do in Skegness. Now, Trip Advisor has named their best five attractions in Skegness. So, what does Trip advisor think are the best attractions in Skegness, and do you agree?

Skegness Aquarium

Skegness Aquarium

Skegness Aquarium is a great place to go no matter what the weather is like. It is located across from the clock tower, and just next to the seafront, and is a great place to visit for all the family.

It may look small from the outside but looks can be deceiving. It is open seven days a week and you can purchase a family ticket for £35 online. The family ticket is for 2 adults and 2 children.

If you think the Skegness Aquarium is just a typical Aquarium, then you are in for a shock. There is so much more on offer including snorkeling and diving experiences.

Gibraltar Point National Nature Reserve

lincolnshire the best place to live

It is not surprising that Gibraltar Point National Nature Reserve has been named as one of the best places to visit in Skegness. The nature reserve is popular with dog walkers, bird watchers, and those who love to go for a nice relaxing walk.

Gibraltar Point National Nature Reserve is located 3 miles from Skegness. On the way to the nature reserve, you will see some stunning houses.

The nature reserve is an area of over 1,000 acres extending along the Lincolnshire coast. If you really fancy a nice walk then when you get into the car park, follow the path which will take you to the beach front.

There is a visitor centre at Gibraltar Point National Nature Reserve which is open from 10 am – 3 pm. The café is open from 10 am – 2.30 pm but is closed on Mondays. They make a lovely breakfast.

Hardy’s Animal Farm

hardys animal farm skegness activites

Children will love Hardy’s Animal Farm. It is a magical place to visit for the whole family and many of those who have visited the working farm often return when they are next on holiday in Skegness.

Hardy’s Animal Farm is set over seven acres. There are lots of great animals to see and there is even a children’s play area.

Skegness Beach

best beach skegness

It is not surprising that Trip Advisor has chosen Skegness Beach as a top tourist attraction. I personally believe that Skegness Beach is the best beach in Lincolnshire.

If you are looking for a place to relax, then Skegness Beach is the best option. The gold-covered sandy coastline stretches for miles. There are donkey rides available on Skegness Beach as featured on TV, or if you fancy going for a swim or a paddle or relaxing on a sun lounger then Skegness Beach has it all.

The children will love Skegness beach.

Natureland Seal Sanctuary

Lincolnshire Life

Skegness Natureland Seal Sanctuary is one of my favourite places to visit. Children will love visiting this magical place. It is another place that looks small from the outside but once you get inside it looks much bigger.

It is located on North Parade, the sanctuary houses seals, penguins, meerkats, and more. There is also somewhere to eat and a gift shop. My favourite thing to see is the seals being fed.

There are lots of great attractions in Skegness to visit, and the above are just some of them. To see lots of other great Skegness attractions, please visit here
