The Spalding High School has been rated Excellent following a school inspection
The teachers at Ayscoughfee Hall School in Spalding are celebrating today after their school was judged to be Excellent following a school inspection.
The school was visited by The Independent Schools Inspectorate accessors who watched the teachers at work. They sat in lessons across all year groups and subjects, and also spent time talking to children and teachers.
Inspectors judged the school as excellent in all areas and found that pupils of all ages and abilities to be above average for their age.
Head teacher Theresa Wright said: “We found the inspection process to be a very positive experience for the school and are delighted with the outcome. We know that Ayscoughfee is a special place, but it is wonderful to have the dedication of our children and staff recognised in this way.”
The inspectors commented on the report that they were impressed with the attitude to learning and communications skills of the pupils.
Mrs Wright added: “We are extremely proud of our pupils at Ayscoughfee. They are a credit to the school and themselves and the inspection team were clearly able to see this.”
